Čejkovice and wine have been inseparably linked since time immemorial. The town of Čejkovice lies at the heart of Moravia’s winegrowing area, in the Velké Pavlovice region, and the area covered by vineyards here makes it the third largest winegrowing town in the Czech Republic. Its vineyards are divided into ten vineyard tracts: Stará Hora, Šatrapky, Odměry, Novosády, Díl u Včelína, Niva Hrbatá, Helezný Díl, Noviny, Kontrbovce and Kostelnické.
The Chateau Wine Gallery was opened in 2000 in the Baroque entry wing of the Chateau for the presentation of local wines, giving visitors to the Chateau a unique opportunity of comparing selected wines from Čejkovice at a single time and place. We offer provincial wines, quality wines and, first and foremost, predicate wines (Kabinett, late harvest, grape blends, straw wine, ice wine, berry blends, botrytised blends) and sparkling wine made in the traditional way produced by a number of wineries in Čejkovice and the surrounding area.
